Before the soaking rain most of the Delaware Valley experienced last night, SFD Volunteers were alerted for house fire on East Park Avenue in Sellersville Borough. The neighbor was reporting the other unit in a twin under renovation had fire in the kitchen. Deputy 26 (Metzler) was in the area and arrived first to report a working fire, adding Engine 58 for RIT and Chemical 17 as an air cascade. Wagon 27 laid a line in the street and stretched a dry 1 3/4 to side C. A small fire in the kitchen was discovered and quickly extinguished with a can and the assignment was taken down to SFD units. Tower 27's crew ventilated and checked for extension.
