Shortly after 10:00 am, Engine 27-1 was dispatched with Engine 58 (Trumbauersville) for an accident with fire reported in the southbound lanes of the 309 bypass, north of the Perkasie exit. When Chief 27 went enroute, Bucks County Dispatch advised the updated location of this incident was now Bethlehem Pike in the area of the Roy Ann Diner. Chief 27 and Engine 27-1 arrived to find one fully involved vehicle off the roadway. Engine 58 staged in the area for a short period of time in case additional manpower or water was needed. The fire was extinguished and all units were available within 30 minutes of arrival.
