Engine and Chief go to Telford

Engine 27-1 and the Chief were dispatched to assist Montgomery Station 75 on a working dwelling fire. Upon Engine 75’s arrival, they faced heavy fire from from the kitchen area and put a good knock on it. The Engine and Chief stood-by in the manpower pool before setting up scene lighting and checking for extension on the garage roof.

Sellersville Pharmacy 

At 1023 hrs this morning Station 27 along with mutual aid compaies were dispatched to Sellersville Pharmacy for reported fumes inside the structure. Engine 27-1 along with AC27(Conicelli) on board arrived to find a slight odor inside the pharmacy. Rescue 59 arrived and stood by at a hydrant on Main by Clymer and their crew assisted Engine 27-1 with their gas meter. Tower 26 arrived and setup their aerial on C side of the structure to check the HVAC units. Montco Enigne 75 arrived and stood by at a second hydrant on Main at Pine. AC27 had Medic 151 disatched to check 5 employees from the pharmacy for complaints of headaches. Montco Medic 339 also onscene and assisted Medic 151. Engine 27-1 crew found a strong odor outside the pharmacy on the A/D corner of the business. UGI arrived on scene and confirmed a leak outside. Chiaro’s Pizzeria and Sellersville Pharmacy were cleared by Fire crews and UGI of gas inside. UGI remained on scene and was contacting a crew to respond out to dig up the parking lot to secure the gas leak. Fire police on scene and closed down Main St until fire apparatus were clear and off the roadway.

vehicle over embankment

At 0058 hours, Engine 27-1 and Rescue 26 were dispatched for a vehicle rescue at the intersection of Chruch Street and Main Street in the Borough. 56pd while on patrol came upon 1 vehicle that had driven off of the roadway and down an embankment. Chief 26 arrived first and stated that the patient had self extricated and recalled the Rescue. Engine 27-1 secured the hazards and went available a short time later.

Morning car fire

Early this morning, crews were dispatched for a reported vehicle fire. Assistant Chief (Conicelli) arrived on scene with an engine compartment fully involved on a pickup truck with plow package that was 10 feet from the garage. Engine 27-1 arrived and went in service with 1”3/4 line to extinguish the fire. Engine 59-1 arrived and crew assisted with opening up the truck and checking for extension. Hilltown Public works notified to respond with a salt truck to salt the driveway so the Engine could get out.

2 Vehicle Accident on the bypass

Engine 27-1 was orginally dispatch to this 2 vehicle accient at Route 309 and Richill Road. The Engine went on scene to find it was 2 a vehicle that hit head on just north of Richill putting it in Station 18’s area. Medic 108 cared to the patient while the Engine’s crew secured the hazards and went available a short time later.

Ridge Valley Road Accident

Engine 27-1 and Rescue 26 were dispatched to this 2 vehicle accident on Ridge Valley Road. Originally dispatched as an Auto Extrication, 77pd went on scene first and stated everyone was out and the Rescue was recalled. The Engine’s crew secured the batteries and put down some oil dry and remained on scene until the tow trucks arrived.

Southbound Accident

While some members were taking part in their bi-annual CPR and first aid certifications yesterday, Engine 27-1 with Medic 108 went to the southbound side of the 309 bypass for this 2 vehicle accident. The Engine’s crew blocked traffic and secured the vehicles while EMS provided care.

Large Brush Fire

Engine 27-1 and Engine 26 were dispatched to the 2500 Block of Old Bethlehem Pike in West Rockhill Township for a report of a brush fire in the caller’s back yard. The 2 Engine’s went on scene to find a large brush fire that was burning further into the woods. Squirt 18 and Tankers 58 and 58-1 were called to assist to help extinguish the fire and for additional water.
