Just afer 0730 hours, Tower 27 was dispatched on Tactical Box 59-07 for a reported dwelling fire in the 300 block of Schoolhouse Road in Hilltown Township. Assistant 59 was the first to arrive and had heavy smoke and fire showing from side C and the garage. Tower 27 and Engine 59-1 arrived simultaneously, and Tower’s crew advanced their hand line to the interior and were faced with heavy fire conditions. Multiple handlines, a blitzfire line, the Tower’s masterstream were placed in service to bring the fire under control. Crews remained on scene for an extended period of time due to extensive overhaul.




Late last night at 2359 hours, Tower 27 was dispatched to cover Montco Station 74 (Souderton) while they were operating at a barn fire. The Tower’s crew along with Montco Engine 76-3 from Towamencin covered Station 74 until 0129 hours when both units were alerted to respond in at reduced speed for manpower assist. Tower 27 crew assisted with putting hot spots out, overhaul, and rolling up hose. After the assignments were completed, Tower 27 was released by Command and went back in service at 0310.



At 0020 hours, Station 27 was dispatched for a reported chimney fire off of Orchard Road in Hilltown Township. The caller was reporting that the fireplace and house was filling with smoke. The Wagon and Tower arrived simultaneously and sent their crew to the interior and the roof. The fire box was cleaned out and a small fire was found that the Tower’s crew handled by droppong chains down the chimney liner. The house was then turned over to the homeowner who was advised to contact a chimney sweep.


Working Fire in Hilltown Township

Last night, Tower 27 responded with numerous other Bucks and Montgomery County companies to the 2400 block of Diamond Street in Hilltown Township to assist at a building fire. The crew split to perform a primary search of the basement area, set up lighting on side D, and opened up the gable end of side C.




Just before 4pm, Tactical Box 27013 was transmitted for a reported house fire in the Kittery Court development. Initial reports were for a deck on fire possibly extending into the house. Police went on scene first and reported the fire to be out. Crews went on scene to find a flower pot was on fire with no extension.



At 0257 hours, the PERKASIE FIRE COMPANY was dispatched to a reported dwelling fire in the 2000 block of Three Mile Run Road in East Rockhill Township. Battalion 76 went on scene with heavy fire showing from the right hand side of the dwelling. The Engine and Tower were later added to assist with opening up the dwelling and aiding in fire suppression.



Box 26005

Tower’s crew operated as the first arriving truck on Box 26-005 in Perkasie Borough. Crews encountered heavy smoke and fire when they arrived and eventually the 2nd alarm was requested. The Tower’s crew split assisting in ventilating and fire suppression.

At 1135 hours, Tactical Box 26-08 was transmitted for the working dwelling fire. Callers were reporting smoke and flames from a house in the 300 block of s 4th Street in Perkasie Borough. Rescue 26 arrived on scene first and had fire showing from the C/D corner. The Tower arrived and went in service with throwing ground ladders and ventilating the dwelling. Units availabe within 2 hours.
